Easy Taco Soup

Here's a quick and easy recipe for taco soup.  The great thing about this recipe is that it's not even really a recipe, you can make it up as you go along.  Add whatever your family likes.

Here's how we like it:

Brown 1 pound of ground turkey or beef

Season with a packet of taco seasoning

Add:

1/2 a chopped onion

2 cans of diced tomatoes

1 can of low sodium chicken broth - you can use water instead, if you want

Throw in some of the following:

canned or frozen corn 

chopped carrots

a can or two of your favorite type of beans

Simmer and then enjoy!  It's great by itself or you can serve it over tortilla chips with some shredded cheese and sour cream.

Chex Cereal at Safeway

I found a good deal on Chex cereal at Safeway this week.  It's on sale for $1.67 a box.  If you use the $1 off 2 coupon here,  and load the $1 off 2 electronic coupon here to your Safeway card, you can get 2 boxes at .67 each!  The electronic coupon can only be used once, but print multiple copies of the other coupon and you can still get the cereal for $1.17 each!  I rarely see this cereal go on sale, so this is a good time to stock up!

Baby Wipes

Target:  If you buy Target's Up & Up Brand of baby wipes using the coupon found here (scroll down the page and type in the number of coupons you'd like, then print) for $1 off, you can get them for a bargain - anywhere from .55 to .99 cents a pack.  Price varies by region.  

While you're at this site, print up some of the other great Target coupons!  Remember, you can combine Target coupons with manufacturer coupons for some great deals!
